- Shaft Extension. An extended shaft that covers the ankle and lower shin, where a low shoe stops at the collar. This is the difference between the AdventureSE and the Adventure.

- Full-grain Italian leather, Terracare certified. The dense outer layer of the hide is left intact, which is the layer that resists abrasion and lets the leather age instead of crack.
- Sympatex® membrane. Waterproof and breathable, so rain stays out and sweat vapour gets out. PTFE-free and fully recyclable, which most riding membranes are not.
- Vibram® outsole. Grips wet pegs and wet road, wears slowly, and can be replaced when it finally goes.
- Goodyear welted construction. Upper, welt and sole are stitched rather than glued, so a cobbler can resole the boot instead of you replacing it.
- Removable leather and latex insole. Take it out to dry the boot properly, or swap in your own orthotic.
- CE certified to EN 13634:2017, category CE-CAT2. The European standard for motorcycle footwear, covering abrasion resistance, impact cut resistance and transverse rigidity.
- Independently tested by PFI. Certification comes from an outside test institute rather than from our own claims.

What makes this a women's motorcycle boot?
Two things, and the second matters more on a boot than on a shoe. The last is drawn for a woman's foot, narrower at the heel with its own instep volume. And the shaft is cut to follow the line of a calf rather than running straight up, so it closes evenly along its whole length.
On a low shoe you can sometimes get away with a narrowed men's pattern. On a tall boot you cannot, because the shaft now has to fit your leg as well as your foot.
A scaled men's shaft runs straight where a calf curves. The result is the complaint every rider who has tried one will recognise: a gap at the ankle and a pinch at the top, with no lacing arrangement that fixes both at once.
Will the shaft fit your calf?
Usually, and it is the one dimension worth checking rather than assuming. Calf circumference varies far more between riders than foot length does. Measure yours over the socks you actually ride in, then ask our customer service team before you order, because a size up sometimes solves a shaft that a size down never will.
Foot length you can guess from your usual shoe size. Calf you cannot, and it is the measurement that decides whether a tall boot is a pleasure or a daily irritation.
Measure at the widest point, sitting down, wearing winter socks rather than summer ones. Then talk to us. It takes five minutes and it is considerably cheaper than a return. If your size sits below 38, the low version in women's motorcycle shoes starts at 36. The store finder also lists dealers who stock the collection, and trying a shaft on in person settles the question in a way no chart can.
One colour in stock, and what to do about that
The grid shows black with grey stitching, because that is the combination we keep made up. It is not the extent of what you can have.
