Who are these men's motorcycle shoes for?

Sizes 40 to 48 are all built on that same shape, scaled properly rather than simply stretched. That matters at the top of the range: a size 47 built by scaling a size 42 ends up long and narrow, which is exactly the fit most larger-footed riders complain about.
Do men's motorcycle shoes work with jeans and riding trousers?
Yes, and this is where low shoes are easiest to live with. Because the shaft ends at the ankle, jeans fall naturally over the top and textile riding trousers close over them without bunching. Nothing about the shoe announces that you rode in.
That's the practical argument for the Adventure over a tall boot. You arrive, you walk into the building, and you're wearing what looks like a good leather shoe. In heavy rain on a long run, water can travel down a trouser leg into any low shoe, which is the one case where a taller shaft earns its keep.

Every pair is certified CE-CAT2 under EN 13634, the European standard for motorcycle footwear. That means independent testing for abrasion resistance, impact cut resistance and transverse rigidity, which is the property that stops your foot folding sideways under load.
