Women's motorcycle shoes are low-cut protective riding shoes built on a women's last, sized 36 to 41. A proper women's last is narrower through the heel and shaped differently over the instep, which is why a downsized men's shoe never quite fits, however close the size looks on paper. This is the Adventure Denver on our women's last. It was drawn by our shoemakers as a women's shoe from the start, not shrunk down from the men's model, and that is the single thing most riders notice when they put a pair on. Handmade in Italy from full-grain leather, lined with a Sympatex® membrane, finished with a Vibram® outsole and Goodyear welted so the sole can be replaced. What makes these women's motorcycle shoes different?
The last. Ours is purpose-built for a woman's foot: narrower at the heel, with a different volume over the instep and a differently placed flex point. Protection, membrane and sole are identical to the men's model, so you give up nothing in safety to get a shoe that actually fits.
Most women's motorcycle footwear is a men's model in smaller sizes. That's why so many riders report heel slip, pressure across the top of the foot, or a shoe that feels roomy and tight at the same time. Those aren't sizing problems, they're shape problems, and no size change fixes them.
What size women's motorcycle shoes should you order?
Order your usual size. Women's motorcycle shoes here run from 36 to 41, cut to fit true to size with a normal riding sock. If you're between sizes, take the larger one: leather widens slightly across the ball of the foot in the first week, but length never changes.
Stand up in them and check two things. Your toes should clear the end, and your heel should stay down as you walk rather than lifting out of the shoe. If your foot is narrow, the women's last usually solves that on its own without you having to size down.
Why a women's last matters more than a smaller size
A last is the form a shoe is built around, and it decides how the shoe holds your foot. Women's feet are generally narrower at the heel relative to the forefoot, with a higher arch and a different instep volume. Scale a men's last down and you keep all the men's proportions, just smaller.
The result is a shoe that has to be laced tight to stop the heel moving, which then presses across the instep. Ride four hours in that and you'll know about it. Building a separate last costs more and is the reason our women's range exists as its own model rather than as a size option.
Do they suit narrow feet and higher insteps?
Yes. The narrower heel cup is built in rather than achieved by lacing, and the instep has the volume a women's foot needs. Riders with narrow feet usually find they can lace normally instead of pulling the shoe tight to keep the heel in place.

Which colours can you choose?
Three leathers: black, dark brown and brandy. Black is the most versatile and hides road grime best, dark brown suits classic bikes, and brandy is the warmest of the three. Six stitching colours and seven lace colours bring the total to over 120 combinations.

Does the women's model give up any protection?
No. The women's shoe carries the same CE-CAT2 certification as the men's, tested to the same standard with the same leather, membrane and sole. The last changes the shape of the shoe, not what it is made of or what it survives.
