- Vibram® outsole. Grips wet pegs and wet road, wears slowly, and can be replaced when it finally goes.
- Goodyear welted construction. Upper, welt and sole are stitched rather than glued, so a cobbler can resole the boot instead of you replacing it.
- Removable leather and latex insole. Take it out to dry the boot properly, or swap in your own orthotic.
- CE certified to EN 13634:2017, category CE-CAT2. The European standard for motorcycle footwear, covering abrasion resistance, impact cut resistance and transverse rigidity.

Who is the dark brown boot for?
The rider whose boots have to work as boots. Tonal stitching and a brown upper mean nothing about this pair announces a motorcycle, so it goes into a restaurant, onto a ferry and round a town without looking like gear. It suits classic, scrambler and adventure builds and anything with brown leather already on it.
Black is the practical choice for a year-round commute. This is the one you pick when the boot spends as much time off the bike as on it.
The trade is upkeep. A boot has far more leather on show than a low shoe, and brown shows road salt and water marks where black hides them. Worth knowing before you choose, not after.
Travelling with one pair of boots

Can you wear a tall brown boot off the bike?
More easily than a tall black one. A brown leather boot with tonal stitching reads as a walking or country boot, which is a familiar shape off a motorcycle. Worn under jeans or chinos the shaft is barely visible, and the Vibram sole looks like what it is: a sole built for walking.
The thing that gives most motorcycle boots away is not the height, it is the hardware. Buckles, plastic shells, branded panels and armour bumps all read as equipment. This boot has none of them.
Under a trouser leg you are left with brown leather and a welt. With jeans over the top nobody will look twice.
